Old Factory Candle Gift Set Review

Full Disclosure: I received products free of charge for the purpose of providing a review. My opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

I love candles. I always have. But for some reason this time of the year, I seem to enjoy them even more. I just learned that November is National Candle Month so maybe I'm not the only who really enjoys candles this time of the year. Most days than not, there is a candle burning in my house. (However, I always consider safety especially since Lil Man is 3.5. For tips on Candle Safely, click here)

I'm always on the lookout for great candles as some candles just can't seem to hold a candle to others. :)

The Old Factory Candle Gift Set contains 3 different 2 ounce candles in an array of scents.

Here are the scent options:

Fall Harvest Pumpkin Spice, Cranberry, Autumn Leaves

Happy Holidays Christmas Tree, Candy Cane, Gingerbread

Winter Wonderland Hot Cocoa, Roasted Chestnut, First Snow

Romance Rose Petals, Champagne, Dark Chocolate

Fresh & Clean Lemongrass, Olive Blossom, Fresh Linen

Spa Day Cucumber, Lemongrass, Green Tea

Vacation Sea Breeze, Hawaiian Lei, Awapuhi

Coffee Shop Coffee Bean, Hazelnut, Chai Tea

Man Cave Straight Razor, Leather, Mahogany

High as a Kite Cannabis, Incense, Bag O' Cookies

New Born Baby Baby Powder, Baby Shampoo, First Blanket

50 Shades Leather, Vanilla Sex, Jasmine Bubbles

I chose Coffee Shop which included Coffee Bean, Hazelnut and Chai Tea. First of all, let me say that I loved the packaging. The small jars were a great size, and the label and black lid were a nice touch. These candles were a nice addition to my decor even when they weren't lit.

I am very picky about scents, but I'm also very picky about quality when it comes to candles. I get very irritated to smell a candle in a store, only to get it home, light it and not smell anything. I don't like overpowering candles either, but I do at least want to be able to smell the candle once I light it.

I opened the lid to the Old Factory Gift Set, and I was not disappointed. I liked each of them. But the real test, how did they burn?

Chai Tea and Hazelnut gave off the strongest scent - not too powerful but enough that I could get a nice hint of the smell. I was a little disappointed in the Coffee Bean as I would have liked for it to have been a little stronger, but it gave off a nice subtle scent which my husband enjoyed.

All three candles burned without smoking, which was definitely an added bonus. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the Old Factory Candle Gift Set, and I would definitely recommend them if you love candles or know someone who does.

Window Bird Feeder By Yellow Beaks

Lil Man has been beside himself since the Clear Window Bird Feeder by Yellow Beaks arrived in the mail. He couldn't wait to get it up and outside. He's very anxious for the birds to come. I wasn't sure how the suction cups would hold up. I've never, in the past, had much luck with any type of suction cup. But so far it's been a week with varying temperature changes, and the suction cups are holding strong. The construction seems sturdy, and it looks to be well-made. It also will be easy to clean out. I know with bird feeders they can get a little yucky sometimes, but this will be easy to remove, spray out and clean up.  So far the birds haven't visited us yet. Our neighbor has several bird feeders and he is keeping all of the birds over there (ha). But Lil Man is checking daily, sometimes multiple times a day, for a bird. So I can't report how the birds like the feeder, but I have to say that we honestly do.  You can find the Wind...

MagicMil Chalkboard Label And Pen Pack Review And Giveaway

I have been compensated in the form of a gift card/money/coupon and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free. All opinions expressed are mine and honest in nature. I'm not known for my craftiness. The fact that I made bird feeders out of milk jugs was a huge accomplishment for me when it comes to crafts. But when I saw these Chalkboard labels , I couldn't get over just how cute they were. And I thought, surely even I could could create something cute with these. First of all, there are several sizes and shapes to choose from. So the possibilities seem endless for what all you could do with these great Chalkboard labels . They are easiest to remove if you slightly bend where the label starts. And they are also re-positionable. ( I may or may not be speaking from experience ;) But they can be re-positioned up to 20 minutes. And they come with a liquid chalk pen. The liquid chalk pen is a little more watery than other markers. You can reapply to...

Ecosak Nylon Nut Bag Review

I have been compensated in the form of a gift card/money/coupon and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free. All opinions expressed are mine and honest in nature. Well, can you believe that I am trying out a nut bag to make my own almond milk? (I'll pause a moment so that you can let the shock wear off!) I can honestly say that never in my life did I intend on making my own almond milk. But as you know, we are making some changes to our diet. So I decided I would give it a try.  And with the Ecosak I also received some recipes which really helped since I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do. I asked Lil Man if he wanted to help me, and he was more than thrilled. Apparently making almond milk was an exciting and fun thing for him. First things first was to wash the Ecosak (easy to do) and soak the nuts. Yep, I put some raw almonds in a bowl, covered them with water and let them soak 6-8 hours or so. After they had been soaked, I...
