I Love You Just Because Children's Book Review and Giveaway

Full Disclosure: I received products free of charge for the purpose of providing a review. My opinions are completely my own based on my experience.  We began reading to Lil Man when he was just a baby. He's always enjoyed reading, and we enjoy reading to him. It's hard to believe that he's starting kindergarten soon. And I know he's going to be reading to us before long! But I had the opportunity to read and review I Love You Just Because   ( affiliate link ) which is the 3rd book in a series. I felt that this book had several messages.

Joosh's Juice Bar: The Blue Banana Berry Adventure.

As you know, Lil Man and I love to read. And I had the opportunity to read Joosh's Juice Bar: The Blue Banana Berry Adventure.  It's such a cute little book about Mo and Coco and their rain forest friends. They travel into the Tropical rain forest in search of more strawberries because Joosh's Juice Bar ran out. Instead of finding strawberries, they come across a forbidden area with a Do No Enter sign. Instead of following the sign, they enter instead. I won't give away the ending, but let's just say they learn that actions have consequences. I found this children's book to be super colorful and fun. It re-enforced eating healthy, and it also showed the consequences of disobedience. I also liked that on the pages there were little mini storylines to also follow in addition to the main story. This is a cute book that was a pleasure to read.

Find The Cutes Playtime

How adorable is this? Find The Cutes  is an interactive book for children. They are a family of Cutes (their last name), and each name begins with the letter C.  Each page contains beautiful hand-drawn characters. With 12 pages of things to search for, children (and adults) could spend hours entertaining themselves. I will admit that I personally could spend hours on this interactive children's book. The suggested ages are 3 and up.  Currently, there is a kickstarter project  ttps://www.kickstarter.com/ projects/92560380/ find -the- cutes -playtime  until April 14. So go check it out. I think this is an awesome book and Lil Man (and I) will enjoy numerous hours looking at it.  Full Disclosure: I received products free of charge for the purpose of providing a review. My opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

Looking For A Fun Children's Book? Read This: Fluffy's Book (Children's Book) Review

As you know, Lil Man will be 3 in March and books are a favorite part of our day. He loves his favorites, but he also loves looking at new books. Well, we got the chance to check out Fluffy's Book by Gabrielle Grande.  Image Source: Amazon First of all, let me say that the concept behind this book is really cute. It's about a a little boy's slipper, Fluffy. And Fluffy gets lost going down the stairs. I don't want to give too much away , but the concept behind the book is really cute.  I was really impressed with the illustrations in the book. The book itself is blue which got Lil Man's attention. But the illustrations are very bright bold colors. And Lil Man loved the bright colors. It was really pleasant to read.  I'm not sure what the suggested age is for the book, but I think it was a little above Lil Man's grasp (at the age of almost 3). He was very much into the story line, and at times was a little frightened as to what wa...

The Flying Waffle (Children's Book Review And Giveaway)

As you know, Lil Man and I read A LOT. And we are always looking for new books. Most books that we have read have been paper or hardcover books that he can hold. But The Flying Waffle   is an electronic book that I put on my Kindle. I wasn't really sure how Lil Man would respond to that, but he loved it. He actually found it easier to 'turn the pages' than a regular book. And it didn't take him long to find his favorite page.  This book is about Candy Carrot, Sir Cob the Corn, and Pea-Z the Sweet Pea. My son calls it the "canny cawot' book. And we have read it numerous numerous times. Since he eats a waffle most mornings, he was very familiar with waffles. And this book grabbed his attention quickly.  It's a cute whimsical book using vegetables as main characters. As a bonus, the book also contains a waffle recipe. I felt that it was just the right length to keep my son's attention, but long enough to actually tell a...

Children's Book Lucky By Craig Inglis Review and GIVEAWAY - Does your child like to read?

Does your child like to read? My Lil Man loves reading. Just the other day, I caught Lil Man with Mickey Mouse under his arm while he was reading to him. He was just jabbering away, and showing Mickey each picture. We usually read about 3-4 books at nap, and then 3-4 at bedtime (not counting any books we might read in between). So when I had the opportunity to review Lucky  by Craig Inglis, I jumped at the chance. Lil Man was pretty excited to check it out too. Reading Lucky Lucky is about dog who overcomes some pretty big obstacles after a car accident. I will admit, as I was reading the book, at first, I thought it was a little intense. But as the book progressed, I was pleased to see that it had an uplifting story about overcoming hardships. And I liked how the author ended the book with Lucky's new found abilities. Lil Man, since he's just 2, didn't grasp the concept about overcoming obstacles. But he was mesmerized by the vibrant pictures. He loved all of the ...
