Do You Ever Run Away?

Shhhhh... don't tell anyone... but I'm hiding in the basement. Relax, Hubby is home with Lil Man so he's ok. I quietly took my cup of coffee, and stealthy crept down the basement steps. My to-do list is overflowing for today. I really need to get started, but my family is more of a 'slow' starter type of family. I can feel the pressure and stress mounting, and all I wanted was a bacon biscuit from Hardees. I know. Silly right.. but I'm just craving one. However, Hubby nixed that idea. And I could feel my frustration rising. 

So I slipped downstairs to get some work done, watch a silly comedy On Demand, and take some deep breathes. 

Do you ever quietly slip away for a few moments just to breath?

    I hear you! I keep slipping outside and staying - my hubby is home at that time, too :) I grab my laptop and work undisturbed until the battery goes down ... A lot gets done at these times.

      Yes it does.. amazing how much can happen with just a few minutes of quiet time

( Finally, we can schedule my surgery. ) She tells me who she is, and then tells me that she has a cancellation for tomorrow. ( Me stammering... )  "Ok, but I was thinking the end of June."   Then I hear "We just had a moment to look at your file. We really don't think that you should wait. We really think you should come in tomorrow at 8:15am" ( Me stammering again ) "Ok, I'll be there."  Wait, what? My mind is all over the place. I'm supposed to work. Ecosak Nylon Nut Bag Review

Well, can you believe that I am trying out a nut bag to make my own almond milk? (I'll pause a moment so that you can let the shock wear off!) I can honestly say that never in my life did I intend on making my own almond milk. But as you know, we are making some changes to our diet. So I decided I would give it a try.  And with the Ecosak I also received some recipes which really helped since I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do. Window Bird Feeder By Yellow Beaks

Lil Man has been beside himself since the Clear Window Bird Feeder by Yellow Beaks arrived in the mail. He couldn't wait to get it up and outside. He's very anxious for the birds to come. I wasn't sure how the suction cups would hold up. I've never, in the past, had much luck with any type of suction cup. But so far it's been a week with varying temperature changes, and the suction cups are holding strong. The construction seems sturdy, and it looks to be well-made. It also will be easy to clean out. I know with bird feeders they can get a little yucky sometimes, but this will be easy to remove, spray out and clean up.  So far the birds haven't visited us yet. Our neighbor has several bird feeders and he is keeping all of the birds over there (ha). But Lil Man is checking daily, sometimes multiple times a day, for a bird.
