Today's Words Of Glass

I have always been someone who goes through a lot of printer paper. And now that Lil Man is older, I think I'm using even more. There are tons of printouts for activities, and I'm finding myself printing more and more.  Thankfully, I've come across HP's EcoFFICIENT Paper  from Sho plet.com .  When I heard about EcoFFicient paper, I wasn't really sure about the quality. I expected the paper to be super thin and basically see-through.

So I often have a had time falling asleep, and then staying asleep. The smallest noises wake me up. So I sleep with a sound machine. But when I travel, that doesn't always work for me. And yes, I have an app on my phone. But, Hubby complains because he prefers not to hear ocean waves. I know, ridiculous right? Who doesn't like to hear the ocean? :) So I introduce to you... the  Bedphones Sleep Headphones . Could this be a solution to my problem? I think it just might be.

I don't know about you and your house, but in our house the more glassware the better. It always seems like I am always looking for a clean glass. Maybe that shows I need to be a little better with washing the dishes? :-) But when I saw these cute stylish glasses - the  Curva Artisan Series , I knew that I just had to give them a try. I love that they are double insulated. I usually use a cup when I am drinking hot liquids because there is a handle. Otherwise simply just holding the cup my hands get too hot. But the curva double insulated glasses can be used for both hot and cold drinks. And as odd as it may seem I loved drinking my coffee this morning from this stylish glass.

This movie is based on the true story of Donna Lawrence. She suffered a nearly fatal attack by a pit bull. While recovering she comes upon a pit bull-mix puppy who had been severely beaten, set on fire and left for dead in  Greenfield Park in Greensboro, North Carolina on August 20, 2009 . This is a story of healing, love, forgiveness, and the desire to change the law to help seek justice and protection for animals.  Susie's Hope made me stop and think about actions and reactions - one action such as a dog attack, the willing heart of a woman to help a tortured animal, and the fight for justice - it all could have been very different had other choices been made.

I know, I know, why am I writing to you about a fan in the middle of Winter? Well, because we actually use fans in our house year round. We burn coal/wood during the Winter, and we have found that although our stove has dual fans, putting a fan next to the stove helps push the heat through the rest of the house. As you know, I love to sweat, #WillRun4IceCream , and I do like all things cute and functional. So when I had the chance to try the Suddora Pink Ribbon Sweatbands , I was happy to give them a try. First I love the color. Although I am known for my neon when it comes to working out, I also am a fan of pink. Second, I have friends who have battled breast cancer, or friends who have loved ones who battled breast cancer, so these sweatbands invoked memories for me.  Quality: They are  80% Cotton, 12% Spandex & 8% Nylon . I found them very soft and comfortable. And to be honest, I thought the headband would slip when I ran. Hey, most of them do. So I was really surprised when this one stayed put. Yep.... for real.  And the wristband was great at wiping away sweat. And...

( Our Journey To Healthier Eating Begins)  and that has prompted me to eat more salads (minus the sugary fatty dressings and croutons). But, I didn't have a salad spinner, and although I would try to dry my lettuce with paper towels, I would still wind up with super wet lettuce. So when I heard about the  Key Largo Traders Salad Spinner , I couldn't wait to test it out. It is a large 4.5 quart salad spinner. The basket doubles as a colander, and the bowl could be used as a serving dish for the salad. So Lil Man and I put it to a test. First of all, it was super easy to use.
