Find The Cutes Playtime

How adorable is this? Find The Cutes  is an interactive book for children. They are a family of Cutes (their last name), and each name begins with the letter C.  Each page contains beautiful hand-drawn characters. With 12 pages of things to search for, children (and adults) could spend hours entertaining themselves. I will admit that I personally could spend hours on this interactive children's book. The suggested ages are 3 and up.  Currently, there is a kickstarter project  ttps://www.kickstarter.com/ projects/92560380/ find -the- cutes -playtime  until April 14. So go check it out. I think this is an awesome book and Lil Man (and I) will enjoy numerous hours looking at it.  Full Disclosure: I received products free of charge for the purpose of providing a review. My opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

Do You Eat Granola? Ladera Granola Review

As many of you know, I'm branching out with my trying healthier foods and different food choices. I'm trying to move away from processed items such as pretzels and other crackery overly processed snacks. And I came across Ladera Granola . Their slogan is "We're nuts about natural." So I decided to give it a try. Let me say, that I'm not usually a granola eater. I'm truly not. And I'm not really a fan of oats or well let's be honestly most things that say whole grain. Hey, just being truthful here. But after reading about the company and the fact that their mission is to promote active living and healthy diets, I decided to put my snobbish idea of whole grain oats away and give Ladera Granola a try. The first thing that I noticed was that it contained pecans and almonds. The second thing that I noticed was the aromatic delicious smell. I took a tentative bite, which was then followed by a handful. I liked it. I liked the texture. I liked th

Tantrums, Hair Cuts, Movies and Donuts

It's funny how single words can sum up my life lately. Some days I can define my entire day by only using one word. TANTRUM. Pretty much no other words are needed to describe how the day was if Hubby asks about my day, and all I say is tantrum. Yep, that pretty much means Lil Man was in toddler tantrum mode continuously which may or may not have resulted in me eating large quantities of chocolate and longing for a pint of Ice Cream. Hair Cut - the fact that Lil Man is old enough to sit in the chair (without crying) to get a hair cut evokes a range of emotions for me. Pride that he was well behaved. Sad that he's no longer a baby. Happy that he's becoming such a unique little person. Movies - Lil Man has discovered Disney movies and the Polar Express. He calls it the 'train movie'. And he wants to watch it continuously. "Stop the train" he yells during the movie. He is also fascinated with Toy Story 2 (for some reason he likes it better than the 1s

Sharpies Are Awesome

I'm not going to lie, I'm an office supplies Sharpie nerd, and wee bit of a pen snob. If it doesn't write smooth, I truthfully won't use it. (Don't tell my husband about the numerous pens that I've tossed simply because I didn't like them). But Sharpies don't usually disappoint.  And the Premium pen   is no exception. I love the fine point and the ink flows freely with minimum pressure.  This pen was small enough to write in the tiniest of margins on my desk calender. But it was also bold enough in color that I could easily see what I had written. I've claimed this pen for 'my use'. I even told Hubby that he will need to get his own because I don't plan to share.  And it probably won't surprise you that I immediately fell in love with the Neon Permanent Markers . It's no secret that I am a lover of neon. These pens are bright. The color flows easy. And I loved how I could use the different colors to c
